Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 24, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Outboard QA, a service of Spin Zone Creations LLC(“we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, and protects information in connection with this website and our services. It applies to visitors to this site and to clients who engage our services.
1. Information we collect
We collect only the information you choose to give us, plus limited technical data generated automatically by visiting the site.
Information you provide
- When you submit our contact, intake, or call-scheduling form, we collect your name, email address, phone number if you provide one, and the contents of your message (including your reason for the call, preferred meeting type, and availability);
- If you engage our services, we collect the information needed to scope and deliver the engagement, such as the URL or description of the site, app, or software to be tested, and any access credentials you choose to provide for that purpose; and
- Any correspondence you send us directly by email.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting provider generates standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) for security and reliability purposes. We also use Vercel Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics service, to see aggregate traffic patterns such as which pages are visited and roughly where visitors are located. See Section 8 for details on how that works and why it does not require a cookie banner.
2. How we use information
We use the information you provide to respond to your inquiry, evaluate and scope potential engagements, deliver our services, send service-related communications (such as report delivery or billing), and improve this website. We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell your personal information.
3. How information is shared
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share information only with the service providers that help us run the business, each of which processes data under its own security and privacy terms:
- Notion, which hosts our contact, intake, and scheduling forms, and client delivery portals;
- Vercel, which hosts this website; and
- once online payment is enabled, a payment processor (currently planned: Stripe) that will process payment card information directly and will not share full card numbers with us.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Outboard QA, our clients, or others.
4. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry, deliver an engagement, meet our legal and tax obligations, and maintain business records, after which we delete or anonymize it.
5. Data security
We rely on reputable third-party providers (see Section 3) that maintain their own security programs, and we limit access to client information to what is needed to perform our services. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of information you send us.
6. Children’s privacy
This website and our services are directed at businesses and individuals operating a website, app, or software, not at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 years of age. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
7. Your rights and choices
You may request that we access, correct, or delete the personal information you have submitted to us, or ask us how it has been used, by contacting us through our contact form or at spinzone.creations@gmail.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.
California residents: under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), you have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to request its correction or deletion, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by California law.
Visitors outside the United States: if you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with its own data protection law, you may have additional rights under that law, including rights of access, correction, deletion, and objection to processing. Contact us using the details above to exercise those rights.
8. Cookies & tracking
This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. We use Vercel Analytics, a cookieless analytics service: it does not set cookies, does not use browser storage, and does not follow you across sites or visits. It reports aggregate, anonymized traffic patterns (such as which pages get visited and rough visitor location derived from IP address at the time of the visit) and does not build a profile of you personally. Because nothing is stored on your device, this does not require a cookie consent banner under applicable law.
Our hosting and form providers may use strictly necessary technical cookies to operate their own services (for example, to load an embedded Notion form). We do not control those cookies directly. If we ever add advertising cookies, third-party tracking pixels, or a payment processor that sets its own cookies, we will update this policy first and add a cookie consent notice to the site.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
10. Contact
Questions about this policy, or requests regarding your personal information, can be directed to Spin Zone Creations LLC through our contact form or at spinzone.creations@gmail.com.
